Chongqing Municipal Government Based on the organization objective of "assisting international purchasers and local suppliers to set up a long-term partnership through subcontracting", SPX, as a non-profit organization, never participates in the business operation between purchasers and suppliers as an agent or charge of commission. SPX only provides the requested service for member enterprises, such as consultation, training and exhibition, to accelerate the success of the cooperation. Therefore, SPX pays special attention to the organization of the exhibition so as to provide a platform for the direct communication between purchasers and suppliers and more opportunities for efficient business trading.
SPX's exhibition distinguishes itself from others in the following aspects;
Strict assessment and selection of Exhibitors.
The quality of the exhibition lies on the quality of exhibitors instead of the exhibition scale. SPX-Chongqing has already set up a supplier assessment system which can effectively evaluate the key indicators of those exhibitors who intend to participate in the exhibition. To ensure the quality of the exhibition, only the suppliers who can satisfy the requirement of purchasers are invited.
Recognition of the different langrage and culture background. Between the purchasers and the suppliers
SPX takes measures to make the participation more fruitful, such as, providing business negotiation guideline and training for local suppliers, bilingual documents, for purchasers, and setting up the bilingual instruction and indication system and the translation service desk on site, and etc..
Interactive exhibition: exhibition area for suppliers and business meeting area for purchasers .
Both domestic enterprises as suppliers and the international enterprises as purchasers have their own stands to display their products or their strategic development plan. Such display helps better understanding of each other's ability and cooperation intention so as to increase successful rate of trading.
Effective preparation for matchmaking activities
a. Supplier database: A complete supplier database has been set up. The database not only contains the normal information about the enterprise, but also the detailed record and the evaluation of enterprise' superior products, primary equipments, process characteristics, quality control system, timely deliver ability and technical know-how , which are considered very much by the buyer.
b. Detailed purchasing order description system:. All the orders provided by the purchaser contain detailed description of the products, such as: products drawing (sample or photo), technical specification, packaging and transport requirement, business requirement , etc. The system will analyze the purchaser 's requirement and then sort out suitable potential suppliers for the purchasing order from the supplier database.
c. Base on the above database and system, our automatic business matchmaking software can find suitable suppliers for purchasers effectively.
d. The initial matchmaking result will be passed to both purchaser s and suppliers before the exhibition. After the confirmation of the result from both parties, the purchasing order drawing and purchaser's information will be sent to the suppliers and the suppliers information will be passed to the purchaser so that they can make full preparation for further communication on the product order during the exhibition.
